Two years ago, I spent 3 days trying to figure out how to build a blog. I got stuck just installing WordPress.
Then I realized: 90% of the work can be handed over to AI.
Today I’m sharing the exact workflow I used. Just copy and paste.
Step 1: Domain (2 minutes)
Go to NameSilo and buy a .com domain. $17/year, includes free WHOIS privacy protection.
Pick a name that fits your brand. I chose getaiefficiency.com.
Step 2: Server (3 minutes)
Go to Google Cloud and create a VM instance. Choose e2-micro – it’s permanently free.
Select us-central1 as the region. Leave everything else default and click Create.
Step 3: Install WordPress + SSL (5 minutes)
Copy these 4 commands, paste them into SSH, hit Enter, and grab a coffee.
sudo apt update && sudo apt install apache2 mysql-server php php-mysql php-curl php-zip php-gd php-mbstring php-xml php-xmlrpc php-soap php-intl php-bcmath unzip wget -y
cd /var/www/html && sudo rm -rf * && sudo wget https://wordpress.org/latest.zip && sudo unzip latest.zip && sudo mv wordpress/* . && sudo rm -rf wordpress latest.zip && sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www/html && sudo chmod -R 755 /var/www/html
sudo certbot --apache -d getaiefficiency.com -d www.getaiefficiency.com
sudo bash -c ‘echo “<?php define(“DB_NAME”, “wordpress”); define(“DB_USER”, “wpuser”); define(“DB_PASSWORD”, “your_db_password”); define(“DB_HOST”, “localhost”); define(“DB_CHARSET”, “utf8mb4”); $table_prefix = “wp_”; define(“WP_HOME”, “https://getaiefficiency.com“); define(“WP_SITEURL”, “https://getaiefficiency.com“); define(“ABSPATH”, __DIR__ . “/”); require_once ABSPATH . “wp-settings.php”;” > /var/www/html/wp-config.php’
10 minutes later, your blog is live.
I’ve packaged the full command template. Drop “blog” in the comments and I’ll send it to you.
What’s the next efficiency scenario you want to see? Let me know in the comments.
